This antique wooden chest from India with a secret compartment is a unique piece with a weathered, understated look. Use it to store your bits and pieces, or display it as a decorative object in your home.

The chest has a dark, distressed finish that beautifully reveals the wood grain. There is a keyhole at the front and the lid is held open by an iron chain. Inside you'll find a removable tray with small compartments. Lift it out and the secret compartment appears underneath. At the bottom, the chest has a moulded edge on small feet.

At 41 cm wide, this chest looks lovely on a sideboard, side table or coffee table. It is beautiful combined with the Leather Note Books by Hoffz, with an old bread board behind it and a few dried branches for a simple, rustic look.
