Terms and Conditions – Oud & Stoer Woonaccessoires

Article 1 – Definitions

In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:

  • Consumer: the natural person who is not acting in the course of a profession or business.

  • Trader: Oud & Stoer Woonaccessoires, the party with whom the consumer enters into an agreement.

  • Distance contract: an agreement concluded using a webshop or another form of digital communication.

  • Right of withdrawal: the option for the consumer to withdraw from the purchase within 30 days of receipt (the statutory period is 14 days).

  • Durable medium: any means by which information can be stored and consulted later, such as email or a PDF.

  • Working day: Monday to Friday, excluding recognised public holidays.

Article 3 – Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to every offer on our website and to every agreement concluded via the webshop.

Before the agreement is concluded, the text of these terms and conditions is made available to the consumer. For electronic orders, the customer can save or print these terms and conditions.

Article 4 – The offer

We do our best to describe our products clearly and as accurately as possible. Images are a true representation, but colours may differ from reality.

Obvious mistakes or errors in prices or descriptions are not binding.

Article 5 – The agreement

The agreement is concluded at the moment the consumer accepts the offer. After ordering, you will receive a confirmation by email.

We provide a secure ordering and payment environment and take appropriate measures to protect your data.

Article 6 – Right of withdrawal (30-day cooling-off period)

You have the right to cancel your order within 30 days of receipt without giving a reason. That is longer than the statutory cooling-off period of 14 days.

Let us know that you wish to return your order by email or via the return form. After that, you have another 30 days to send the product back.

The item must be returned unused, undamaged and – where possible – in its original packaging.

Article 7 – Returns & costs

The return shipping costs are at your own expense.

Make sure the item is well packaged and keep your proof of postage.
In the event of damage or use, we may refuse a return or apply a reduction in value.

Article 8 – Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

Returns are not possible for:

  • Items made specially to measure or to your specifications.

  • Items that cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene (such as opened personal care products).

This is always clearly stated on the product page.

Article 9 – Prices and payment

All prices include VAT and exclude shipping costs (unless stated otherwise).
Pricing errors or misprints do not give any right to delivery.

Payment is made via the payment methods offered in our webshop. In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to charge costs.

Article 10 – Delivery

Orders placed on working days are usually shipped within 1 working day. Within the Netherlands and Belgium you will receive your order within 1–3 working days, in the rest of Europe within 2–5 working days (the day of ordering does not count).
Delivery is made by DHL or another reliable carrier. Furniture delivery is different – we will arrange this with you personally.

Article 11 – Warranty & complaints

Our products comply with the statutory guarantee of conformity: a product must do what you may reasonably expect of it.

Complaints? Report them within 7 days of receipt via info@oudenstoerwonen.nl. We will respond within 14 days at the latest with a suitable solution.

Article 12 – Liability

We are not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage or personal injury.
Liability is limited to the amount of the order, unless there is intent or gross negligence.

Article 13 – Disputes & applicable law

All agreements are governed by Dutch law.
Any disputes may be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
