Old Chinese Footed Bowl (5)
Chinese Wooden Footed Bowl
This old Chinese wooden bowl on a foot has a dark, weathered finish and a calm look. Lovely as understated decoration in a rustic interior.
The bowl is made of wood and stands on a wide foot. The black finish has worn away in various places, revealing the wood underneath. Signs of use and colour variations are part of this old piece.
Lovely on a sideboard, side table, cabinet or dining table. Fill the bowl with moss, a glass candle lantern, pine cones or other seasonal decoration. Even empty, the round shape comes into its own.
